Why does Nurse have basically 3 Blinks in 2v8, Killers are buffed af but Billy can't be Insta down
Trade offer bhvr.
Just keep Billy power's the same on 4v1(remove the buffs on mobility) and give us his Insta Downs please.

Because simple mobility is far stronger for average 2v8 players, especially the one who was prior survivor mains who recently started to play killers
But since the mode is extremely survivor sided anyway giving back full power wouldn't hurt

I think Billy is a slept on Killer in this mode, tbh. He doesn't need his instadown. I tend to use him most to pressure the last gens, quickly finish chases with chainsaw sprints and zip across the map to where the action is whenever my Killer buddy gives me aura readings. Mobility or range seem to be the strongest attributes to have in 2 Vs 8 (though Trapper's ability to lock down hot spots on the map is very useful, too).
I think the reason why Nurse was so buffed was to encourage players that don't normally play Nurse to try her out. It's not really worked though, since the long queue times discourage players from queuing up with Killers that they're not very good with. So all that buffing her seems to have done is make the already skilled Nurses even more deadly.
I do think most of the more casual players have probably moved away from this mode by now, so he might seem a bit weaker than he actually is.

A better example is all the buffs they gave huntress when she already would be mostly strong enough for this mode. The maps have fairly enough sightlines for her. And she had an entire teammate to make it easier for her to down a survivor. Billy it'd have been nice if they removed his instadown to maybe give him more effects in his basekit. Like a cooldown addon or overdrive generation. Or make both boots base instead of 1. Nothing to major. But at least he feels like he gets stronger from 2v8 like the other killers do. He basically has green bump and yellow boots base. For the trade off of permanent meme addon lol.

I swear he felt way more maneuverable to me than usual, but maybe that's because I normally just use the two brown boot add-ons in regular mode. So yeah, it is just the same as the yellow boots. So I agree, his buffs are nothing special but BHVR must think the average Billy player is still good enough to do well in this mode, even with his chainsaw nerfed. I think that's probably true. He doesn't feel too weak to me.
Nurse on the other hand is a difficult Killer to master and Huntress is not an easy Killer to be effective with either (especially on controller). I do think they over did it a little with Huntress, though. She doesn't need 10 hatchets.

Because the average Survivor is so noob. If you encounter a decent 8-man team that decently loops. Billy will feel so weak.
This is just my opinion but, I don't want Billy to be a support Killer (Which I think BHVR meant for this mode). Doing a genuinely good curve and outplaying the Survivor should feel rewarding.0 -
I agree with this as well. I think his passive is kind of silly to have implemented for Billy as well. I think something more like 'If Billy goes into overdrive, the other killer is granted x% haste when not in chase" or something, and allow Billy to be a power role. Maybe even give Nurse something else as a passive to be a support as well in exchange since she's already very good in the right hands.

I guess I just view 2 Vs 8 a little bit differently. Since it kinda has no functional MMR, it's not likely that you'll be going up against 8 very decent loopers, so it's OK if he's not as strong as in the main game. And you can still curve survivors that are injured and get a down (and hopefully there will be lots of targets if your partner is doing well).
A good Huntress and Nurse paired with an instadown Billy could have half the team slugged or in cages in like 2 minutes.

If there weren't so many sight reveals-enter chase, kick gen, and non hooked survivors when a gen is finished- I'd say MAYBE give him insta-downs. But if you're decent at Billy half the team can be laying on the ground at 8 gens. Survivors spawn in so close together and half his outplay which is line of sight and last min jukes would be off the table. Not to mention teaming with another killer to push survivor into his saw range or Billy can meet a cage across the map just to chainsaw a rescuerer. No thanks.
