Why can't we pip in 2v8 ?

With regard to the rank reset on the 13th: Why didn't you give us the possibility to pip in 2v8 ? I was able to finish quests that required emblems in 2v8 although it doesn't show your emblems. So even the emblem system works in 2v8, so why not pips as well?

    I like using a barbell to get my point across. 2v8 is like a barbell one end is survivors get 8K escapes the other end is killers get 8K and the middle skinny bar is anything in between. That being said Ixsont see it fair to pip up based on that alone. Also I have seen the BP range be vastly diffeent so why would some better players pip while others won't? They would need to make piping diffeent in this mode or it will happen way too fast.

    Yup that's now kinda another incentive (bp bonus lowered) to play 1vs4 if you want to reach red grade. Im only silver 3 on killer. I might be on gold grade on survivor.

    My guess: 2v8 is not a Modifier but a new mode and the developers said that they want to make it permanently. So I think at some point they implemented an own rank system for the 2v8 mode - similar to the 1v4 mode which explains why we can do emblem achivments. But maybe they didn't implement completely or forgot to remove it.

    It is kinda sad that there was not pip system ans I hope it will have one the next time

    I don't like how I spent all month in 2v8 having a fun time, but got no reward for my time spent as if I had never played any Killer this month.

    At the least let us Pip a little. It can't be that different from 1v4 in terms of events.
