Original Chapter Concept - Hunting Grounds

I've posted once on these forums before, but after a few years, I've made a couple of tweaks, drew up an image for my concept and even redesigned the main killer for this chapter concept since then! That being said, I bring to those of you on the forum, the Hunting Grounds chapter:

This chapter concept is based around a story of mine by the same name as the chapter itself: Hunting Grounds. A story about a young man who returns to his home town after the death of his father, only to find out it has become the feeding place of a beast that stalks from the dark. This concept is fully fleshed out, including a killer and survivor, a unique stalk power concept, and three perks for each side! The map itself isn't fully fleshed out so I won't go into detail, but the current concept is a Haddonfield-esque map with a main street and buildings, but with a larger forest area surrounding it. Be forewarned, the bios are long, since they're from a story of mine, so I wanted to include lots of detail and such! With that being said, onto the characters!

New Killer - The Watcher

Bio - The darkness is a hiding place for both predators and prey, but in the woods surrounding the town of Little Rock, Mississippi, a single beast thrived as an apex predator. The Watcher is a docile creature by nature, but holds an insatiable appetite, having to feed every few days in order to survive. The town it lived near, Little Rock, had no clue of its existence for years, until the local wildlife had been completely decimated by the creature. Then, the disappearances began…

One morning, locals spoke with each other about scratching someone heard at their door the night before. The next morning, they spoke of knocking and pounding at the door. That following night, the town heard frenzied screams, and the loud, echoing blast of a pistol firing: A screech followed, then a final cry that was swiftly silenced. Every three nights, the beast returned, tearing doorknobs off of doors and breaking into homes to feed on the only food source it had left. The locals started spotting it at night: White eyes staring into your soul, watching your every move, the beast's body blending into the trees of the dense, dark forest.

One by one the townsfolk were stalked, hunted, and slaughtered by The Watcher, purely seen as prey to the hungry beast. As the townspeople grew more and more frenzied, each third night would be filled with gunshots and struggle, but never once did the beast fail. Eventually, it had managed to hunt all but two people that lived in that poor town: One that The Watcher knew was a threat, and the other being a visitor that had arrived just a few weeks prior. As it went to stalk these last two prey, a deep fog befell the town. A tree crashed onto the ground, stopping the strange machine one of its prey was using to get away. The Watcher stared up as tendrils emerged from a blackened sky, the town and forest around it enveloped in a darkness it had never seen before.

When the fog cleared, The Watcher found itself in a forest once more, but not its home. Before it stood a glowing fire… and the man who tried to flee from The Watcher.

Power - Watchful Eyes

Passive Gaze - The Watcher begins the trial in this state. You are granted the undetectable status effect while in this state, you move at a reduced speed than and have a shorter lunge attack. Upon stalking any survivor, they will become your target. Only one survivor can be targeted at a time. Once a survivor has been stalked for five seconds, The Watcher will let out a loud, piercing shriek before beginning to hunt and chase.

Aggressive Hunt - You have decided who your target will be and begin the hunt. In this state, you can only see your target. Other survivors and their scratch marks can not be seen, but all survivors become exposed. You move at a considerably increased speed and have an increased lunge attack. You break pallets and vault windows at increased speeds. Upon hitting your target, another survivor, or upon your power gauge depleting, you will enter Passive Gaze.

The Watcher’s three teachable perks help it easily track prey while inflicting fear and terror.

Sharp Ears - Your sense of hearing is unlike any other, and you are acutely aware of the sounds of prey. Footsteps are 25/50/75% louder

Horrific Gaze - Your presence inflicts fear into those who see you. When a survivor sees you within a range of 20m, they will scream, their aura is revealed for 3 seconds, and they become exhausted for three seconds. The perk will then enter a cooldown for 80/70/60 seconds. This perk cannot trigger on a survivor during a chase.

Menacing Approach - Your mere presence inflicts terror and paranoia to the ones you hunt. Survivors within 12m/16m/20m of you are afflicted with Confusion.
(Confusion causes many in-game sounds to become omni-directional)

New Survivor - Johnson Smith

Bio - A talented man with a strong academic career and a full life ahead of him, all of which came to a halt upon the death of his father. Struck with grief, John decided it would be best to step away from his life for a while, and clear his head, deciding to visit a town his father would take him to as a child: Little Rock, Mississippi. A small and quaint town with little shops and wonderful people, away from corporate nonsense, run purely by the people who live in it. What he found instead was a place of terror and dread, the townsfolk filled with paranoia, turning on each other as they all were taken in the night, one by one.

It didn't take long for John to find out what was happening. His first night, he awoke to a loud bang from across the street as a door was broken. A gunshot followed, then screams… and silence. He ran to his window to see what had happened, only to be struck with terror as a creature stared back at him from the dark with large, white eyes that pierced into his very soul. He quickly took out his journal and made a quick sketch of its face. He knew writing down everything he could would be his key to tracking everything going on so he could keep up with any information he got.

John wasn't alone in his quest to learn, thankfully: A man by the name of Patrick, or "Lone Star" as the locals liked to call him, kept John company and told him many things he needed to know about the strange creature he saw. A tall, thin beast, twice the size of a tall man. Its hands are sharp as a fine blade, its feet like that of a bird, with hairs that flare when it hunts and ears that hear anything. Everything Johnson heard, he wrote down in his journal, along with a nightly update to try and jot down his thoughts and clear his mind. Writing these notes, learning what the monster could do and how it hunted, gave him an edge in surviving its hunt. Every night it attacked, John would watch from afar, writing down how it attacked, how it searched, the ways it moved and snuck about, everything.

As people were picked off one by one from the town, it only took a few weeks of being stranded for him and Patrick to be the last two alive. The engine to his car had been torn apart by the beast not long after he entered town, but the two were able to get it repaired and working. Patrick gave a final farewell, and the two prepared to part, knowing only one of them would be alive to tell the tale of the monster that slaughtered the folks of Little Rock. Unfortunately for John… fate had other plans.

Strange strings tugged at a tree by the road, breaking it and causing it to fall onto the path, and Johnson couldn't steer away in time. As he stepped out, disoriented, he looked back at the town, now obscured by a thick, black fog. He noticed tendrils coming down from the sky, surrounding the town and the forest, like a creature of unfathomable shape and size consuming the place whole. Johnson looked back down at the town one last time, and saw a strange man, colored black and red, staring at him. He wore a wide, unnerving grin, and it was hard to tell if he was staring at eyes or the reflection of a pair of glasses. Regardless, the strange man whispered into the air, and it was as if the fog all around whispered back.

Everything went dark in an instant. When the light returned, Johnson found himself near a campfire, with a pair of eyes staring at him from the darkness of the forest.

Johnson comes with three teachable perks that help him stay hidden from monsters and keep track of valuable information.

Useful Notes - You are skilled at keeping track of the things you find. When empty handed, using the interaction key will allow you to see any object, window or pallet you have previously interacted with for 5 seconds. This perk then goes on cooldown for 60/45/30 seconds

Observation - You learn from watching and gathering information, and can use it to your advantage. When within 32m of the killer, holding line of sight, and not in chase, this perk charges. After charging for 25/20/15 seconds, this perk activates. While active, this perk allows you to see the aura of the killer while they are in chase.

Hiding Spot - You know how to hide from watching eyes, and it brings you a sense of safety. While in a locker, you make no grunts of pain and are not afflicted with blindness.

There you all have it! My fleshed out concept for a Dead By Daylight chapter. Feel free to give any thoughts or criticisms, especially when it comes to the perks and power: I'm not the most pro player, but I still wanted to give interesting and unique perks that spice things up and allow interesting new gameplay while keeping them very thematic to the characters and their behavior. Anyways, thanks for reading!
