Gen Grabs Bugged - Animation Plays, No Grab, No Damage

Playing on PC, through Steam.
Had this happen in several matches since 2v8 update (in normal matches) where I go to grab someone off a gen, and instead of grabbing them, they run away with no damage. The animation plays, partially, and then they are running away and I am swinging in a random direction away from them. Also one instance of the animation straight up freezing while the survivor runs away uninjured. No red bars to indicate lag on either side.
Occurs with every gen grab.
