PC/PS5 - Chucky 4th Wall Break animation is cancelled by locomotion, when entering "Hidey-Ho Mode"

Bug reported on Live Release version 8.1.0, but discovered as far back as Live Release 7.4.0

Back on Chucky PTB version 7.4.0, The Killer "Good Guy" was able to play an animation breaking the 4th wall, as in videos and link attached, when entering "Hidey-Ho Mode", while idle or running. After the PTB version came to Live Release 7.4.0, "The Good Guy" Killer doesn't play this animation at all anymore when running, only when idle and the animation gets cancelled by any movement input.
Also, the animation doesn't trigger as often when entering "Hidey-Ho Mode".

Steps to reproduce:
1. Access Live Release Main Menu
2. Click Play tab in Main Menu -> Click Killer or Custom match button -> Select Killer "The Good Guy" (Perk selection/Map doesn't affect this)
3. Enter a match
4. Enter "Hidey-Ho Mode" as Good Guy, by pressing the Secondary Power Button -> Use cases:
*Killer stays idle for duration of "Hidey-Ho Mode" -> Animation plays out correctly. OK
*Killer moves around for the duration of "Hidey-Ho Mode" by pressing any locomotion buttons (W/A/S/D) -> The animation doesn't start/play for the duration of the "Hidey-ho Mode". NOT OK
*Killer stays idle till animation starts/is play

ing, but then presses any locomotion buttons (W/A/S/D) -> animation is cancelled by locomotion. NOT OK

  • Perks played - Bug reproduced with any or missing perk selection
  • Map - Any Map
  • Frequency of the issue - Every time Killer enters "Hidey-Ho Mode", and uses movement input, the animation cancels or doesn't start

Please fix this visual bug, it is a very good animation that now is more or less forgotten, because a player rarely stays idle while in "Hidey-Ho Mode"

    Tested this bug and can also confirm it is reproducible on any cosmetic customization The Good Guy has like:
    *The Good Gal
    *Back From The Dead Chucky
    *Bloody Chucky
    *Good Guy Sweater

    Also, discovered that in addition to any movement input that cancels or prevents the animation from playing, any strong camera movement turn also cancels and prevents the animation from playing while in "Hidey-Ho Mode".
