In example, if you lose a single chase and nobody comes to rescue you, do you expect it the fault to lie more on yourself or more on your team. While you could have lasted longer in chase, your team could have also rescued you, the sole weight and responsibility does not weigh in on you but it weighs on the team as a whole.
I generally find it not worth it to weigh how much of it actually lies on your or your teammates since it leads to unnecessary frustration; as a result, especially in SoloQ, there is no reason to really care, sometimes you just lose, and it's better to move on.
Though if you are seeking improvement: Just play Survivor.
You cannot improve at a role if you do not play it. The only way to improve at Survivors is by learning through application and experience; take what you know, and try to apply it ingame, practice, etc.

Its a good question, assuming you know the rules of the game,
what you do is learn what a good survivor does and then practise your loops.Three words, Observe, Determine, React.
- Always gather info to know where the Killer is.
- Make a determination with the info you have, then you have what you think the Killer is playing.
- React to the Killer's play.
For Looping? I recommend
Yeah, but it takes time to master 100%.

Bloodpoints reflect more the game time in the trial than your skills:
if you fall first & nobody wants or can unhook you until you are sacrifiec on the hook, there is no way to earn more 1k-7k BPs…1
