So that's the BM "everybody" is talking about?
For the past few months, I seldom had a bad word in the end game chat.
I was only reminded of the existence of BMs because of the forums.
Tonight, I've experienced that side.
Insults, salt, called a camper or a tunneler when I did nothing of the sort. (Having a full team on death hook doesn't seem to be a factor here.)
About every match ended like that.
At midnight had about three hours worth of this so I've changed my style:
I've camped and tunneled the next two hours and I've learned a few things.
- It's less efficient than my usual style (I've 4k far less quickly gen-wise, although maybe its' because I was tired)
- It doesn't feel nearly as bad being called a camper and a tunneler when you actually did it.
- It's not a very enjoyable way to play.
I hope tomorrow I'll be back playing with civilised lobbies.
edit: my point is not about getting used to the BM. My point is how have I been spared for such a long time?

I've been playing since 2019. With my 3 accounts I must have a total of a bit less than 4k hours.
I've encountered BMs years ago but since maybe 2023 it was too rare to even mention it.

When I was playing killer, I would get it at least once every other night. Maybe more depending how I played. Sometimes as little as an EZ, even if they were the only one to escape by hatch, or a full on 5 minute ######### you session from a 4 man. You get used to it. Especially since you would often run against them the very next game and mori them np. EZ DC. It got better because of crossplay but that's only because consolers couldn't say anything. Good times.
