Hey DBD Team,

I wanted to bring up a suggestion for the next player survey, especially considering some recent discussions within the community. A lot of us have been talking about the licensed chapters, and there’s a growing sentiment that some of them might not be as faithful to the source material as we’d hoped, or that they may be lacking in gameplay elements.

I believe it’s important for you as developers to get a clear understanding of these concerns, so I think it would be eye-opening (or confirming) if you could include a questionnaire about this in the next survey.

Here’s a potential examples:

CHAPTER 6: A Nightmare on Elm Street™
Sourced from the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
"Do you find this chapter, including the Map, Killer, and Survivor, to be faithful to the source material?"
Answers: Very / Somewhat / Not at All

Have you played this Killer? If yes then:
"Do you find the gameplay of the Killer to be faithful to the source material?"
Answers: Very / Somewhat / Not at All

CHAPTER 25: Resident Evil™: PROJECT W
Sourced from the game Resident Evil 5 (2009)
"Do you find this chapter, including the Killer and Survivor, to be faithful to the source material?"
Answers: Very / Somewhat / Not at All

Have you played this Killer? If yes then:
"Do you find the gameplay of the Killer to be faithful to the source material?"
Answers: Very / Somewhat / Not at All

Including these kinds of questions would give a clearer picture of how many players share this concern and what they’re specifically looking for in these chapters. This could also grant your more perspective, shed light and help hone your game design strategies for development of chapters both future and past. I cant wait for FNAF.

Thanks for considering this, and for all the hard work you put into the game!
