messages during matches (idea)

Reposting this old post from a year ago because it kinda flopped.

what if we had "quick messages" during a game as a survivor? there'd be just a single button for it. for example, when a survivor team is in a match, they can simply send each other "messages" that already exist, but they'd be useful, such as "focus on repairing", "keep repairing, i'm going for the save!", "help me!", "the killer is nearby!", "my repairing progress is at x%", etc.

this would be very useful for the players who aren't swf/are soloq such as myself. i'll be honest, i took this idea from a really similar game to dbd which is called "identity v", and as someone who plays it, i'd say it really is useful. this wouldn't be "unfair" to the killers or anything, it's just for the better info. even better when dbd doesn't have voice-chat, so we'd be able to communicate like that, at least.

Identity V did this and it worked out really well. I think it would save alot of people from charging into a camper, or if noone is coming for the hook. Its a good compromise with voice chat, only you wont get super toxic kids screaming at you mid match

I wouldn't mind that, definitely better than voice chat for a game like this imo.
