Solo survivors. + Toxicity in the game. + No MMR system.
I don't know where to write about this, but sorry, I just want to speak out because I'm tired.
I love this game and have been playing it since 2018, I have over 5,000 hours on my Steam account and it so happened that I've been playing alone for the last few years. Solo player.
As all players know, if the developers change the balance in any direction, they do it taking into account how the game will look from the SWF side. When the killer will fight against 4 survivors with communication. You nerf the survivors and give more opportunities to the killers, you increase the time it takes to charge the generators, but please look (or share with us) at the escape statistics of survivors who play SOLO. As I mentioned above, I have 5,000 hours, I know how to play, but the game and the selection of MMR always gives me bad players on my team who waste time. You may disagree, but DBD is a game about time.
Every second counts and if at least one survivor (with the current balance) is messing around and not helping his team (not starting generators), then the whole team will most likely die.
And please, consider how 90 percent of killers play against SOLO players now. They start tunneling the first survivor at 5 generators and until he dies. The perks you made against tunneling - they do not help.
Do you really care so much about solo players and that they suffer? I can't choose another word, because it is suffering. While the team is having fun and enjoying themselves, we solo players die 90 percent of the matches.
I do not like taking perks for the hatch. I want to get players on my team who have not 100 hours of play, but players of my level. Why are you deceiving the community when you say that the MMR system works when it is not true?
What's weird is that when you added the 2vs8 mod, the percentage of my solo escapes became higher, despite the unfair play, when 2 killers just cornered you and you couldn't do anything. SVF is just killing the game, and you don't know how to balance it. But I ask you to do something for solo players, because we simply won't have enough patience and we will stop playing this and suffering.
I would also like to say that the community in DBD is just awful. It is very toxic and in the post-game chat you always see some insults and humiliations that you played badly. It does not matter which side you play for, the killer or the survivor. Why do you not do anything about it? What is the purpose of the chat in the game, so that players write only nasty things to each other? If a player wants to be friends with someone, he will go to that person's account and send him a friend request. But what is the purpose of the chat in DBD? Is it to encourage toxic players? And how much racism I have seen in this chat, it is impossible to list.
I am very sorry that my once favorite game (as my 5 thousand hours prove) turned into this disappointment. When the game stopped bringing pleasure, but only sadness, because many things in the game do not work fairly and not fairly in relation to solo players.
With all due respect to how much you have done, I ask you on behalf of all solo survivors to do something about all this and fix the situation. We want to enjoy the game too. Many killers have started complaining about long waits in the lobby, even after the 2vs event. Do you know why the wait is long? Because fewer people want to play survivors than before. It used to be great, but now it's frustrating.
Solo survivors. + Toxicity in the game. + No MMR system.
thank you!

The big problem in this community is we always seem to dismiss things we don't like or aren't good with as "bad" or "trash" if they somehow cannot dominate. It's never "this perk/Killer doesn't work for my playstyle or is too niche for me", it's "this perk/Killer is trash."
It's not "Oh, well Teamwork: Collective Stealth is way too niche or underpowered and could use some updates" or "Teamwork: Collective Stealth isn't for me", it's "Teamwork: Collective Stealth doesn't do enough or work for me IMHO, so it's trash."
It's not "Trapper and he has flaws that need addressing". It's "Trapper is a weak D tier Killer who has no real chase ability and can't handle Loops the same way as a Nurse can, so he's trash."
It's not "I struggle against/as Ghostface, so maybe he's just not for me", it's "Ghostface loses his power for 20 seconds if you reveal him and I don't like that, so he's trash" or "I don't like that he is so hard to find, it's BS, so he's trash" or "I dislike the people who play him, I have had a bad time against him, so he's trash".
And this constant negativity has backwash effects. Killer players especially get hit the hardest by it, it's like sometimes Survivors demand your best, always your best, only your best. And if you have a bad day or don't give your best you get shat on for it… and this happens over and over to every single Killer player, until that Killer Player either hardens their heart and stops caring about what any Survivor has to say about anything (becoming toxic), or until they become gaslit into believing they're really bad and they should just stop trying. Eventually you get told how bad you or your perks or your Killer are so much, you go "Why can't I win? I am trying so hard. I guess I am just trash, or my Killer/perks/playstyle is just trash. I am trash."
And that is a problem, and I don't know how we fix it if we even can.0 -

we solo players die 90 percent of the matches.
Solo escape rates are similar to SWF at all MMR ranges.
And please, consider how 90 percent of killers play against SOLO players now.
More like 50%.
What's weird is that when you added the 2vs8 mod, the percentage of my solo escapes became higher
2v8 was heavily survivor sided.
I am so sorry none of the stats align with your arguments. I hope you can take this as an opportunity to reflect upon yourself.
