Things I wana see in the games future
Chest/Luck update
- Ace in the whole basekit: This perk lets you keep your addons after the match if you escape and items in chests have addons.
This perk basekit would make chests a lot more interesting while not changing much of the survivors strength. I don‘t think anyone actually plays this perk outside of chest builds.
- The basement got better and more chests with only purple or better items and one safe where you need to find the key somewhere on the map at a corpse like on nostromo
The basement is one of the most dangerous places on every map, so it would only make sense if there was good hidden treasures.
The Easter egg you have added to Nostromo with the keycard and the special room with a purple chest is very cool and give you something to look out or search for instead of doing gens. Overall please add more easter eggs to maps.
- Maps in General should have more chests
- Luck affects chest, it gives you better and higher perks and addons
Luck currently is way too weak and no one really uses it since there are a lot better ways to self unhook yourself and making luck affect chests only makes sense.
Item update and new items
- Medkits please revert the nerf you did in 6.7. There is literally no reason with the current medkits to have more than the grey version. Please give them different values, which make them different and stand out from each other.
- Green maps should be like the blood/iri map and they need almost all their addons basekit and new ones
- Keys needs some kind of effect and to use the key the activation time is too long. They need some big changes.
- Flashbang/firecrackers: It would be so cool to be able to hold more than one or you could make one item have 3 charges
- Toolboxes: The grey and yellow one are almost useless. The charges of those who have 16 should get increased to 24. 16 is just too little.
- Fire axe can open up special windows that are blocked from the beginning by wooden stuff
- Smoke grenade
- Scout drone/Remote controlled car (maybe not fitting into dbd?)
- you can trough balloons with dirt/sand/paint etc at the killers face, which blocks some parts of their view for a 20s
- Bush suit or placable bushes
- Placeable totems
- A spray, which makes the ground slippery or slows down on it
- Grappler, which allows you to reach windows above you and upstairs areas
Blood web update
- Please make it a lot faster to spend them and remove this pop up from every prestige lvl.
- For addons and items, please change the way you treat them. Grey should not stand for we just add some weak addons with a bad effect. Every item should still have their good use and not be bad by default when it is grey. I would give the iri very strong effects, purple strong effects, green unique effects, yellow and grey just change some of the numbers.For items I would prefer when the item variants (except of the event ones), that are not standing out and not Special , would be removed. They just feel like they are there to be bad and not because they have their own niche in which they‘re great.
Offerings update
Please add more gameplay affecting offering that spice things up. Like one that let‘s you spawn near the killer at the beginning of the match
Basement update
Some while ago someone suggested a idea to change the basement and to make it bigger with some loops. Sadly I forgot who it was. This one could be placed at the spot of the second basement spawn while keeping the one we got. In this new basement we would see some traps that can injure survivors, some loops and some useful items for survivors.
New gameplay features basekit
- Different stats for killers: This means different speeds/terror radius/carry speeds/weapon ranges…
This would make the game a lot more interesting and complex.
- New special vaults that are only for traversal and injure you if you fast vault
- There are closed windows on the map that can only be opened with a fire axe (blocked by wood) and some are blocked by chains and a black lock, which can only be opened by purple/iri keys
- Craftable pallets either only as party pallets or when as normal pallets the match would start with less pallets
- Survivor get the ability to crawl, but if they killer finds them he can just pick them up. There would also be wholes in walls where small killers or crawling killers and crawling survivors could slowly go through
- M1 killers get a 5% speed increase to travers the map. Deactivates and goes on cooldown upon starting a chase or seeing a survivor.
- Ladders to climb up a tower or other stuff
- Some doors/windows can get closed and locked while only being openable from one side or those have to get opened up by the killer or with a fire axe
- Icy surfaces where you slide on, struggle to change directions and become faster
- More things you can hide in like chests, telephone booths, under water (if we ever get a map with water), cars or a fridge….
- Serums can be found on the map, which give you random temporary buffs (like in COD zombies) for both sides. For example haste, vault speed, aura vision, undetectable…
Atmosphere
The old maps lighting, fog and colors were so cool back in the day, I would love if you would take some inspiration from your old maps. There the maps really looked and felt like in a horror game. Weather effects like rain, lightning and real fog. Dark places would be so cool.
Terrain
Please make maps less flat. Shure you would have to adjust some killer powers for that, but it would make maps feel a lot better. Swamp was a good start, but why did you stop there??!!
Removal of invisible walls
All of them should be removed. If a survivor is on a surface, that the killer can‘t reach, the survivor slides off.
Interactable objects on maps
Who did not want to play on the piano on midwitch, the flipper in the cinema map, stalk everyone on the map through cameras (this is a feature that we need for fnaf and saw), turn off the lights or start a fire alarm on Lerry‘s. This could give this game a lot of depth.
Openable secret rooms/corridors, Secret passages and Easter eggs
Totems/hexes/boons
- Hexes are looking like a normal totem at the start of the match for 30s or you can select in the first 45s as killer which totem should become your hex
- Boons should be quieter and have a bigger range, killer should distroy the totem when they kick a booned totem
- Totem spawns should be a lot more hidden
Male characters having the same size as females
Currently it feels bad to play males, because they give you a big disadvantage by playing them instead of a female.
More ways to interact with each other
It would be really cool to make certain sound with killers on command or play voice lines. Same for survivors, but there
Generator update
The really aren‘t fun and they are the thing that you have to do the most in the game as survivor. My suggestion is that we need fuel for gens and gens need less time. Collecting other things on the map would be cool too, but it shouldn‘t be too complicated.
Sadako being able to teleport to TVs that are part of maps
New status effects
- Silence where you hear nothing and the visual heart beat deactivates
- A stink effect, which would be a new way for tracking, where survivors or killers leave clouds behind them, that go away and get thinner over time
- A revearsed effect, that turns forward ←> backwards and right ←> left
- Darkness makes every thing a lot darker (maybe shadowborn could be a hex with that effect)
Changes to existing status effects
- Blindness hides killer objectives. This would at least make it useful on certain killers.
- Mangeled is permanent again
- Oblivious hides lullabies
- Reaching 100s exhaustion would make you faint

Item update/new items ✅ I agree with pretty much of all of it. Its creative. I dont care for the medkit changes especially with the recent buffs to healing.

Basement Update ✅ It would be fun to have some variety as long as the loop down there isn't to crazy. Its meant to be a dangerous place to be.
New gameplay features. This one is a mix bag. I some like of the ideas and some I am not so sure about. Creative though.
Atmosphere - ✅I agree! while my eyes thank BHVR for the lighting changes the old eyerie maps that I wasnt here for seemed spookier.

Interactable objects on maps ✅ I love this. Its fun. Who doesn't like pressing buttons lol.
Totems/hexes ✅ Totems suck. They're so easily found. Need better hiding places, better spawns.
Generator update - that could be interesting. It would change how the game is played for the last 100 years. (dramatic) but yeah..
New status effects ✅ - That would be fun! I am all for new fun effects.
Sadako tping to tvs that are on maps. I would love that. They would have to let her fall out of the TV because lery's has them up on tables lol.
Changes to exsisting effects - Yes, no yes, yes.
