Questions about cross progression

As the title says.

I'm planning on making the move from PlayStation to pc on steam, but I would like to ask a few things before I go ahead with the account syncing.

  1. I got DBD back when it was free for the month with my PlayStation Plus subscription. Dose this constitute as me owning the game ore will I have to buy it again off the PlayStation store. I want to know because I heard that if you got DBD on Xbox game pass it didn't count as owning DBD on that platform.
  2. Lets say I buy the Catlevania dlc, or a pack of auric cells on PlayStation after merging the accounts, will they show up on my linked steam account after activating cross progression.
  3. After merging my PlayStation account with my steam account will I still have access to Ace, Feng, Hag & doctor. I'm asking this because they came free with the PlayStation version of the game.

These are all the questions I have for now but I may ask more as I plan to wait a little longer before going ahead with syncing my accounts.

While I may not have a definitive answer for the first question, I can answer the other 2

    2. Yes for the DLC, no for auric cells. Probably because if it gave you the auric cells on both, it would also have to take them away on both when you use them, which is probably very difficult to do. Also probably difficult for legal reasons because it's a paid currency.

    3. As someone who did merge from PS4 to PC, yes, you do keep them.

    Thank you for you're response.

If you don't mind me asking did you have any trouble loosing progress when you synced your accounts. I know most people synced their account without any hassle, but I have also heard of people loosing progress after the account merger.

If I did lose progress, I didn't notice it. Which I probably would've since I had everyone unlocked before merging and still have them after.

good morning- here for a totally different question, but I can help!

Free DBD on PSN is fine. You only need (the save on your PSN account) and to (link the PSN name with your BHVR account). When you enable cross, you’ll keep charms, outfits, the furthest tome progress, and unlocked perks per character.

You’ll lose dlc character access. If you buy those people again, you’ll keep their progress due to cross-play. I went from Switch to PSN and liked it; it keeps daily missions from using the people I only wanted perks for. Using this silly rule, you can keep both editions and use the old save as a loading bay.
