Disconnected from servers issue ends up in time queue penalty
I was playing as Wesker just now and all of the sudden I tried to vault a window, but I got stuck for a few moments. Everything was still moving around me but suddenly I got disconnected from the match and it said "You have been disconnected from the server" Or, something similar I didn't think much of it because it had happened before. But then I went back to the menu and as it turns out I got penalized as if I had intentionally disconnected.
I'm making this post to clarify that I didn't intend to disconnect. It was the game but still got penalized for it.

Sounds like the server died if you got that message. Their system doesn't differentiate between connection issues and players manually leaving. It just knows you left, and applies the penalties the same in either case.
Otherwise it would be open to abuse as players could get around the DC penalty just by pulling their Internet cords or whatever.
