Hello, I have such a case, I bought a new high-end laptop with rtx and i5 13th and 16gb ram and I am struggling with such a problem that the game runs all the time using the processor 80/100 and there is a high temperature around 70/80, generally I only have such a situation in dbd and is there anything I can do about it?

Have you tried to lower the settings or framerate any to see if that makes a change. A lot of laptops tend to run warm or even hot because of their design. Some games will also tax the cpu more than they may the GPU. I'm not sure where DBD falls on that because I've never paid attention

There may even be a fan curve you can change to help with the temps as well as performance settings in one of the apps. It could be on a setting prioritizing noise over temp.

Edit: can you post the make or model. Or look on YouTube to see if you can find any reviews on the same system. Just to get an idea of how their temps and usage rates are in various games compared to yours.

This will help to indicate maybe if something is faulty if there is a large discrepancy

Make sure you are playing in full screen and not windowed full screen. My PC would make heavy use of the CPU if I had it in windowed mode. And would use the graphics card more for full screen mode. Should be in your graphics settings in game.

Are all the drivers of all the components up to date? The manufacturer should have website with it.
