Since he's been released in this game, still remains at least in my opinion..one of the most boring/frustrating killers to play with or as.

Does anyone know good strats to help me next time i run into him?

Windows, windows, windows. The #1 counter to Leatherface is running him on Windows, since the pallet game is heavily in his favor.

He's also a killer you want to be wary about being in his TR, always be on the lookout when you hear the heartbeat because being mispositioned can mean instant death. Take notes of the resources around you, and run early if you have to, he doesn't have mobility like Hillbilly.

Every Leatherface player knows Windows screw over his power and run Bamboozle to alleviate it. This might seem really annoying but it is super exploitable. Most Bubba players vault early to block the window, so when they get close to a window to vault it, run to the next loop pre-emptively and you'll gain distance on him.

Leatherfaces that fake a window vault with Bamboozle to mindgame are in the minority, most just instantly vault, but if you get a properly mindgaming Leatherface watch out. If they fake a window it can end up with you being mispositioned.

Advanced techniques to counter Bubba include learning how to utilize lockers against him (i.e: Learning the timings of when to jump out of a Locker when he Tantrums), and timing Pallet Drops in a way that stuns him, even if he's in a chainsaw sweep (this can backfire hard, though, so be wary).

Hopefully this helps you against everyone's favourite yellow-aproned maniac. Good luck, and happy looping.

    • Watch ur positioning and running time. Lfs strength is obviously his insta down so you should position urself when your doing a gen, that you see him early and can at least make the next strong window so he cant instadown you.
    • Learn pallet timing. Throw too early he instabreaks with his chainsaw, Throw to late and ur dead, Throw just right, u stun him and get away.
    • Learn tandrum timing for locker plays to force an m1 as a last way out
    • If your out of other options try to run Environment rather than structures. Hitboxes on many environment objects are super wonky and sometimes force tandrums cause he hits an invisible hitbox

His Tantrum is basically non existent now that they reduced his collision by over half, it’s almost impossible to get him to bump now. But all the other advice is great.

NEVER HOOK TRADE!!! Bubba can easily down you and the unhooked survivor as he can easily shred through the basekit borrowed time and hit them again as he is much MUCH faster than the on hit speed burst.

If he is proxy camping a survivor there is essentially zero counter play at all. Just work on gens as he gets his free kill. He’ll probably get another kill at the end too for relatively free as well, especially after the huge buffs he got.

If he is playing nice and not camping then he is kind of easy to loop on most maps. 9 times out of 10 they have bamboozle so vault a window once and be ready to give up a pallet.
