Game: Name the Survivor/Killer Perk Equivalent!

Survivors and Killers constantly argue between each other and rarely see eye to eye, fighting each other cat and dog while trying to argue who has it better/worse.

We have plenty to argue about, and we have a strong mix of good perks, meme perks, funny perks, and perks that leave a lot to be desired... so in the spirit of seeing the other sides point of view, let's play a little game!

Name a pair of perks/combos that feel equivalent to/the counterpart of each other between the 2 sides.

As my opening gambit...

Franklin's Demise vs. Boil Over

Both are generally pretty bad perks on their own, they rarely work, and don't really achieve much more than annoying/trolling the opposite side... but when they do work they trigger the opposition hard.

They also have 1 other perk that takes them from being annoying but kinda poop... to obnoxious beyond rationale thought, and those perks are Weave Attunement and Breakdown. Again both of these can be handled... but anyone seeing these perks in play is gonna immediatley breathe a frustrated sigh.

What perks would label as the equivalent between Killer and Survivor?

there’s always the classic Zenshin and Windows, but that’s obvious.

Eyes of Belmont is just Lethal Pursuer for survivor

That’s my argument, they both give auras on the posing side and extend other aura duration.

Maybe Residual Manifest vs Hex: Third Seal

They are not great perks but pretty annoying to go against. Blind is not strong effect but kinds feels bad to play against.

Good shout! I feel like EoB and LP will have similar levels of value for Survivor and Killer, they are directly comparable.

there’s always the classic Zenshin and Windows, but that’s obvious.

This where I think the conversation gets interesting, cause I wouldn't say Zanshin and WoO are similar value, even though they have the same effect.

Being able to see Windows and Pallet locations is much more valuable to survivor, since reaching the other side of them is generally safety for Survivor, whereas for Killer knowing the Window/Pallet is there doesn't really help you cut off the survivor.

    I suppose I might throw:

    Coup vs. Windows of Opportunity

They are on the same line, no real steps/work required to earn the value, can be used to make up for a less skilled players shortcomings, consistent, and does allow a pretty lazy mechanism/playstyle to subvert the normal mind games and skill required of the players to win exchanges 😁
