Buff Bat form.
You should be able to see survivors. You cannot attack immediately like spirit.
It also takes time to shift form to form, there’s a cooldown and activation time plus a slow down. There’s enough penalties.

Would seeing survivors in bat form would be bit broken?

How? You literally can’t attack. Is it broken for wraith or spirit? Plus you have a lullaby, and the bats are easy to see not to mention loud.

Spirit and Wraith has different powers. Spirit can't see survivors while phasing but can see scratch marks and hear survivors and Wraith can turn invisible while cloaking but can see survivors and can attack after turning off his cloaking. So seeing survivors in bat form would be too much like Wraith's.

Then he would need way higher transformation duration (not being able to attack). I definitely prefer current version.
Spirit can't see survivors and Wraith can't attack immediately.
Bat shouldn't be better than them.... Unlike those two, bat can also teleport.

Shifting is fast and the cooldown before you can attack short, so this would simply lead to the killer chasing down survivors as a 6ms killer that can ignore all vaults and as soon as they are close shift for a quick hit.
Bat form is clearly intended for map traversal, not chasing down survivors.

I would definitely want his sound in bat reduced, it's so loud...
That's main reason why it's difficult to use in chase. You are forced to stay in bat for some time and because of how loud bat is, it's very difficult to track survivor.

What i dont think its "that" needed is the 48m lullaby. Survivors literally hear a global cue when he transforms, i dont think its needed to also give them information when you are getting 48m closer to them…for a supposed "undetectable" form.
I also think it would be nice to speed up the teleport speed, i think the speed addon should be totally basekit. The range could also see some tweaks, as it is already handicapped by being only on vaulting points (yes, i know you can get a lot more vaulting points by leaving pallets on the ground, but thats also a double-edged sword as the survivors can keep using them).
Though i like that strategy around pallets. I try to only break the safest ones or the ones where there is not a single window in many metters around.

If he has to have lullaby, I definetly prefer it to be so massive. It affects survivors you have no intention even chase. Definetly better than smaller (more precise) lullaby.
Sound on killer side is what hinders the usage for chase, so that's my main issue.2 -
i'd rather they buff stealth to actual stealth so i am actually rewarded for finding survivors while blind. normally, when killer have drawbacks, they tend have large benefits to counter-act drawbacks, right? like nurse move 96 m/s but has great power, Singularity has tag survivors, but then he gets teleport right. Oni has charge up but he gets instant downs. so big negative, big positive right. than you have dracula that has big negative for bats but…. not so great positive. i feel like positives should be bigger then what current negatives are. right now they don't feel like that way.

I’m aware of what they can do. Reread the OG post. I explain why it wouldn’t be too much.

I agree 💯

Bat for you can’t see survivors or attack immediately though… it feels clunky in my humble opinion.

The bat should be able to actually fly ;)

But if they do, survivor mains will say it's op and compares it to Wraith's power.
Hex_Ignored said that Bat form is intended use for traversing maps, not for chasing. Making a bat form into another chase stuff like Vampire form and Wolf form will feel repetitive which will add nothing new to it.

I get that for sure. I understand too he has multiple abilities so he cant be super powerful…Just my thoughts tho

They should at least remove the lullaby from the Bat form, for sure. He already has a sound cue for the bats and is visible and stunnable, so why does he need another warning of him being close.

Hand holding.

The cooldown is too low coming out of the bat form to allow for sight. And I get the feeling if the cooldown was increased then you wouldn't like that either.
What I have seen to be effective from better Dracula players is to simply stop in the general area of scratches to avoid being double-backed and such. Given that his anti-loop is quite strong, it seems fair to me that he stops closer to survivors instead of on top of them. This allows survivors to make a resource sometimes, and also allows for a little counterplay to the form in the event you are surprised by him.0 -
The only "Buff" I want is for the bat noises to be quieter on killer side tbh

Bat should get buffed in form of easier survivor tracking by sound. It's terrible to use for this.
But Bat can teleport, fly over windows/pallets and have basekit Zhansin's tactic. Unlike Wraith, or Spirit.
Not being able to attack is not the issue. Issues are movement (feels weird) and sound tracking.

Attempting to track survivors whilst in Bat form is the only kind of skill expression the form has. Making survivors visible would just make Dracula more boring to play.
This would be preferable.
