Can’t unhook teammates

Played a match on the decimated borgo (DND map) was in the downstairs area with the portal and my teammate was hooked their I ran up to unhook them and it didn’t let me unhook them it played the animation for a split second then canceled it made it appear as if I was BMing them but I was trying to get the unhook but it wouldn’t let me they died on hook.
