Tentacle strike

I wanted to know if anyone else has felt really good with using Nemesis's buffed tentacle strike. It's only a 0.5m range buff, but it feels nutty to hit people at the distances I have been. However, I am not a Nemesis main and I wanted to ask if it's always been this way or is the .5 distance actually a big difference?

His range always extended in tier III.

Now difference between tier II and III is simply more noticable, but I don't really feel any big difference about Nemi overall...

I notice cooldown a lot more then anything else however survivor makes a lot of distance where killer feels like hold-w simulator. I think their hindered is bugged or something. I won't judge nemesis until his hindered works correctly.

    This.

0,5 metes is fine but T3 was already 6 meters, that was more than enought.

Hindered seems bug/shadownerf. From 20% to like 5%.

Reaching T2 easier is massive. With marvin only 2 whips one same survivor is super good.

I would like addon pass and that zombie hits give you mutation.

After watching several hours of it and then playing a good dozen matches, the distance is hilarious.

And if anyone is being honest, broken.

Doesnt need that much distance. Tiering up is a welcome change, but the tIII distance is just so stupid.

Not very new to be honest, most survivors I face have no idea just how far you can hit with the old tier 3 tentacle strike. Some survivors won't even attempt to juke until they're in the 5 meter range, but as a Nemesis main you learn where you can get the hit with extra distance on some tiles, like shack or a long wall.

This buff helps, but in MOST cases, anywhere you can get the hit with this new .5 meters, you probably will have been able to get it anyway with a quarter second of patience with the old 6 meters, not to mention you have to be in tier 3 to have that extension and the same survivors who won't juke 6.5 wouldn't have juked 6 either.

Honestly, this change will probably just make more survivors conscious to the tier 3 range, rather than score more hits than without the buff. Still though, there's a reason pyramids heads only useful addons are range extension so I guess give it more time to see how useful that .5 can be.

The cool down is always useful though.

To answer everyone, the Hindered wasn't shadow-nerfed from my understanding, the wiki specifically uses the stats for killers that are in the game's coding and it is showing now that the Hindered is 20% for 2 seconds so it is more likely just bugged at the current moment since that is a common theme with killer changes recently.
