Hex: Undying not working

I had Hex: Wretched Fate and Hex: Undying equipped. When a survivor cleansed any of the hex totems (while Wretched Fate was active) both of the hex totem''s icons turned off in the bottom right corner. The other hex totem did not disappear from the map but the obsession did not get a repair speed debuff from the hex totem (i tried it with my friend).
