PC- Grey Endgame Timer while nobody is downed or hooked

Hello, today I played a game against a Leatherface killing 2 of my teamates and slugging me and my third teamate. When that third teamate bled out, hatch spawned as usual and the killer closed it triggering the endgame collapse. Adrenaline got me up and instead of beeing red as usual, the EndGame Timer was grey giving me 4 minutes to escape while I was the last survivor. As I believe this isn't an intended mechanic, I'm reporting it.
