Unable to match with friends when in their lobby, they cannot join mine
Hello,
I hope someone else has had this issue before and can help me out. For the past day, when I join a friends lobby (both on steam, both have cross platform on) I ready up but it will not show them readied up when they are. They then are able to find a lobby but I do not join the lobby with them. When in the match making lobby, when I send messages in the lobby chat they don't show up for them or me.
I am able to find games in solo queue and can send lobby messages there. Additionally, my friends cannot join my lobby as it says "party does not exist"
Fixes I've tried:
Validated game file (all files were validated)
A full uninstall and install
no one on the forums seem to have run into this issue.
Any help would be appreciated to fix this

Not sure if anybody has looked into this issue yet, but I can confirm that you're not alone on this for Steam. Following a few select attempted fixes (file validation, uninstall and reinstall, computer/game/Steam restarts, router restart), nothing seems to work on my end, either. There's additionally a ~10% chance of disconnecting from a match even on solo queue, and I will occasionally run into an error claiming there was an issue with updating my bloodweb - when I haven't touched it in several games. Hoping a fix will arise for this issue, as it has now been affecting my game for nearly a week. There was a moment when I genuinely thought it was actually an EAC issue due to the abrupt arrival of Error Code 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32), but the apparent usual fixes for it seem to do nothing to ameliorate it. Hoping the error will subside in the near future.

Have everybody reboot the game. Sometimes swf lobbies permanently break
When this happens on Xbox we all have to do it if one person pretends to restart it'll just stay broken

Not sure if this works for the OP, but considering how the issue continues even several days later with a completely different lobby and a completely different person I desire to join, that's unfortunately ineffective for me. Even so, I thank you for the contribution.

I too have have run into this problem on Xbox, sorta rare but happens. Someone disconnecting or being moried can trigger it.
Sometimes each of us restarting the game fixes it, sometimes we have to restart our routers as well. This issue has been around since 2018 for me.
