Killer: The Destructor

Power:

  • Thought Provoker:

Choose the form of the destructor! You are now able to strike your opponents with lightning, dealing no damage but increasing their “thought bar”. This causes them to think of the countless possibilities of what could happen.

This in turn empowers you, giving you:

  •  For every 1/2/3/4 survivor(s) with a full thought bar.
    • 5/10/20/40% faster movement speed.
    • 5/10/20/40% increased lunge range.
    • 5/10/20/40% decreased cooldown for attacks and lighting attacks.
    • 5/10/20/40% faster kick, pick-up, hooking animations.
    • 5/10/20/40% decreased stunned times.

But, survivors can perform the action “clear your head”, getting rid of their thought bar in 30 seconds. However, on the map, 2 gothic statues act the same as generators, except they take only 45 seconds to destroy.

For every 1/2 Gothic Statues destroyed:

  • The time to clear your head is decreased to 20/10 seconds.

Once the gothic statues are destroyed, the terror dogs are now unleashed, after manifesting for 30 seconds each. They will roam the map and can complete your thought bar if they connect a hit with you. Once connecting a hit, they will disappear and re-manifest 30 seconds later.

Add-ons:

  • Ectoplasm (common): Slows the Clear Your Head action by 10%.
  • Burnt Marshmallow (common): The color of the aura of a Gothic Statue changes from red to pink, when 3 or more survivors are working on it.
  • Exploded Eggs (uncommon): Gothic Statues now take a full 60 seconds to destroy.
  • Decorative Mug (uncommon): Thought bar now needs 30% less lightning to fill.
  • Symmetrical Book Stack (rare): Lightning attack has a 30% faster cooldown as well as a 20% longer range.
  • Ghost Sniffer (rare): Terror Dogs manifest 50% faster.
  • Slime-Soaked Flight Suit (very rare): When a survivor’s thought bar is full, they are slowed by 10% for 10 seconds.
  • PKE Meter (very rare): All survivors’ auras are revealed for 5 seconds once a Gothic Statue is destroyed.
  • Tobin’s Spirit Guide (ultra rare): Terror Dogs now take the survivor down a health state, as well as filling your thought bar.
  • Proton Pack (ultra rare): Terror Dogs are immediately unleashed, with the destruction of the gothic statues, doing nothing. The time it takes to Clear Your Head now takes 50% more time.

Cosmetics:

  • Stay Puft Marshmallow Man
  • Library Ghost

Perks:

Hex: Are You A God?: When this ability first becomes active, a hex lights on the map, it is lit for the remainder of the trial. When within 5 meters of your obsession for 10/8/5 seconds:

  • Your next hit will reduce the survivor’s haste boost by 20/30/50%. This does not apply you injure the survivor in the ten seconds it takes or if you are stunned in that 10 seconds.

“When someone asks you if you are a god, you say YES!” -Winston Zeddemore.

Turn the Key: When 2 survivors are working on the same task for at least 30/20/10 seconds:

  • Their aura is revealed to you until that task is completed, or if a survivor is injured, or if you enter a chase.

“Are you the keymaster?” -Dana Barrett

Total Particle Reversal: After being stunned as a killer. you go invisible with a hard-to-notice distortion around you for 3/5/7 seconds.

“Aim for the flat-top!” -Ray Stantz

Mori: Gozer begins to fry the survivor with their lightning, the survivor screaming in pain, with Gozer going to the front of the downed survivor, picking up their head, and staring them in the eyes. We get a perspective of the survivor’s horrified eyes, screaming in horror, before their pupils disappear, their eyes now forever white and open in terror.

Survivor: Peter Venkman

Perks:

Entrepreneur: You work well when alone. When a fellow survivor leaves a task such as healing or doing a generator:

  • Your speed is increased by 5/7/10% for that task.

“Back off man, I’m a scientist.” -Peter Venkman

Trapped: After saving any survivor from a hook 1 time and healing the equivalent of 1 health state, go into a locker to receive a ghost trap. When hooked you can use this trap to scare off the Entity, after succeeding after a difficult skill check, you unhook yourself and break the hook for 15/30/45 seconds. This also applies deep wound onto you. “We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!” -Peter Venkman

No Kiss?: You have a very flashy personality, every 3 seconds you are within 5 meters of the killer, you gain a token:

  • This increases your movement speed by 2/3/5% per token with a max of 5 tokens. This does not work when you are within lockers. You lose all tokens when you are injured or perform a rushed action.

“You know, you don't act like a scientist. You're more like a game show host.” -Dana Barrett.

Cosmetics:

  • Black jumpsuit with Ghostbusters 2 logo comes with the DLC.
  • Ray Stantz.
  • Egon Spengler.
  • Winston Zeddemore.

Maps:

  • The Firehouse: An indoor/outdoor map, with a large metropolitan area outside, as well as the firehouse being accessible, the Ecto-1 acting as a loop. Several references litter this map, including Ray’s Occult, Vigo the Carpathian’s painting, and more!

  • The Sedgewick: An indoor map of the Sedgewick hotel, consisting of 2 floors. 1. The ground floor of the lobby, ballroom, kitchen, etc., and then the second floor, the actual hotel, which can be accessed via several elevators throughout the map, acting the same as the passages on the knight’s map.

This is my second-ever DBD concept, let me know what you think!! Whether a perk or the power is overpowered, or underpowered, whether the statistics should be changed, if there should be a different map, etc. Thanks for reading!! :-)
