Cross progression not working?

I cannot get cross progression to work, I’ve been trying it for hours and nothing happens, I’ve linked my Nintendo accounts and PlayStation accounts but it still says I don’t own the game at all, and it won’t let me do cross progression. What do I do to fix this I’ve tried looking and can’t find this issue anywhere else.
