Lights Out - Castlevania not awarding Rift Fragments

None of the challenges or Tome completion reward give Rift Fragments. I'm pretty sure both the previous time we've had this mode and other events it's always given those as a bonus.
It seems like a bug or oversight and is something that would give people less of a reason to play the mode.
