DbD is ignoring my GPU?

Hello,

since the latest update the game has been incredibly laggy and for some reason it just wont use my NVIDIA GPU.
I optimised the game in GeForce and looked into settings: NVIDIA is set to be the go to GPU. Yet I wont get the pop up about it being used and game still runs terribly. I tried to re-select it and it didnt help.

I dont think its a GPU issue because I play other games (they are more graphically demanding too) and everything works just fine.

Does anyone know whats going on? I would appreciate any advice!
