Freddy could finally get cosmetics?
Apparently Warner Bros wants to license out some of it's franchises to other game companies and I see this as a chance for Freddy and Quentin to finally get cosmetics I know it's still a small chance but this gives me hope that the only killer in the game to never receive cosmetics will finally get something since it seems WB is realizing they need to be a little less stubborn with licensing, GIVE US A ROBERT ENGLUND SKIN WITH VOICE ACTING

My Dream is that they add a Robert Englund legendary outfit, with voice lines and a new mori. If BHVR tied that to the rework it would be amazing.

Crossing my fingers so hard rn they're distorting into eldritch shapes. Englund Freddy with voice lines would instantly save the character for me, even with the nothingburger his power is right now. I would still love him. I normally dislike voiced characters in DBD but there's a few whose personality is so over the top that it cinches their identity. Freddy's one of them. A silent Freddy is not Freddy.
But comboed with the rework we know is coming? Oh, that would be a beautiful dream. And actual cosmetics… just imagine. Freddy's taken so many freaky, funny nightmare shapes over the years.
I'm afraid of hoping, but god, I want it.

I don't even play Freddy, but I'd absolutely buy a skin if it were OG Freddy with Robert Englund doing the voice acting.
On a related note, didn't Quentin's bloody prestige shirt used to have slashes across it? He needs those.

I'm not entirely sure but those should defiantly added, also they should probably just update the models because Freddy and Quentin have the same body model

I'd like to see him with cosmetics with slashes in his clothes, too, though.
And Freddy's model definitely needs an update. He's so small and unimposing. Even if he's technically accurate to the movies (is he, though?), he should look intimidating. The Entity would surely give his stature at least a little buff.

It is really unfortunate the only time Freddy changes his appearance in the remake was during a deleted scene, because I personally prefer the remake but that movie doesn't really have anything that could become a cosmetic.
One of the reasons why they should have kept that scene in, tbh:

Robert Englund legendary with voicelines on the same level as Chucky would be amazing. Although I thought it was the Wes Craven Estate that still held the rights to Nightmare on Elm street? And from what I heard they're notoriously ass to work with when it comes to licensing.

Wes holds the U.S rights WB has the international rights, Bhvr is a Canadian company so they get the license from WB, if they were a U.S company then they'd have the rights under the Craven Estate

I mean Brad Dourif did that for Chucky, also Robert Englund said he's still willing to voice the character Robert knows what Freddy would and wouldn't say, so if anything all the different lines would be because of Robert Englund making sure everything is correct

After some research sadly even if Freddy were to get a Robert Englund cosmetic Englund would not voice him due to the fact he claims he is pretty much done with the character so while a cosmetic is possible it would likely have no voice lines with it
