Salvation or Sacrifice event tome not progressing

I've tried multiple Lights Out matches and event tome challenge to safe unhook/hook 3 surivors does not progress. I've even hooked more than 3 people in the same match just in case it was that horrible stupid "complete this in a single trial" type of challenge, and the description is an error, but still nothing.
(Xbox One)
Edit: I don't know if this was fixed, or a dev saw this an changed things for my account, but I logged in and suddenly the challenge was completed despite recently still saying 0 progress was made.
