Anyone else think Chucky needs SM treatment?

If Chucky's power recovery is nerfed, then he needs to become a 115 killer. Thats why his power recovery was buffed in the first place, because it felt awful to be a powerless 110 killer most of the game

As a Chucky main, I'd take a nerf of his power cooldown by like 2-3 seconds if it meant they gave him Window Scamper back. He'd still get power back fast enough for it be one of the better chase powers, but his design would encourage taking advantage of stealth more instead of solely relying on Slice and Dice.

As for add-ons, rework a few of the ones made useless after the scamper changes, and give Rat Poison a new effect. That's all I can really think of without getting specific.

I agree with what everyone's already said that no killer should get nuked from orbit like skull merchant (if anyone, she is the only one that should be treated that way).

However, as a Blight main that likes to play against Blight I somewhat agree with OP here. Specifically, Chucky's power comes off cooldown VERY quickly, such that you have to spend a lot of time in your chase pathing behind/around specific objects to prevent a potential slice and dice. Unconventional pathing to dodge a killer power or prevent its use is nothing new and I love chases against Blight where I can do this, but the difference is Blight has a significant cooldown on his power once he uses it, and it's very clear when he uses it. Versus Chucky, I feel like the optimal play and what I have been doing is just always running to places where he can't slice and predropping pallets (which is basically hold forward → pallet → hit → run → downed). If they pre-turn for a slice I can dodge it, but it's an easy hit if they don't.

I don't really know what should change though. Current Chucky is still miles better than the old one that basically ignored pallets. Maybe I am skill issuing and don't know the right play versus him. I've played him a bunch and it seems like what I have been doing is the best counter, but it's not a very good strategy and it's really easy to get zoned if you try to dodge.

Just choose 1 killer at random every month and give them the SM special. Then, randomly buff the crap out of another killer. At least it would be equal opportunity.

People complained that him scampering under pallets was a free hit. So, they reworked him, gutted his scamper, and to compensate, gave him a cooldown reduction to recharge. Which killed his signature as a dash killer imo. Now, he can get his power back faster, and people want to complain about that too? Pick your poisons people. Understand this killer is a 4.4 m/s. He needs some type of traversal in order to have adequate map/gen pressure.

You can't complain about something when the option to play as him is readily available, assuming you bought him as a killer. Play as Chucky, and then you'll understand why he needs his recharge. Don't petition a killer to be gutted when they already took away what made him Chucky in the first place.

I'm calling skill issue here. Every time I play as chucky, people predrop, crouch tech, and juke me all the time. His S&D is very linear and VERY predictable. I'd say, step out your feelings and learn some counterplay. Thank you and have a good day.

Chucky isn't remotely healthy but they won't change him until there's a higher kill rate.

Maybe you're just not as good as you thought you were?

Ill be honest, I have mained Chucky for the last 3 weeks.

I think hes a lil too easy to play, not that dislike that, but if Survivors dont have fun its not good at all.

I wonder what bHVR thinks of the stats.

Wasn't he nerfed enough? He already lost both forms of scamper, so now his scamper addons only work while dashing an that's worthless to a huge amount of the time. his cooldown was pretty high before it could go up to 12 maximum would be 14 everything else would make him too bad.
