Flashbangs are not making their characteristic sound when they are dropped onto the ground, often causing the killer to be unable to react to them.

    I have experienced this, too.

    One time my only saving grace was the fact I noticed the flashbang literally being thrown infront of me, that I could possibly react to it, because it made no sound.
