I do not know what makes this game fun for you, so why should it be my responsibility to make it fun for you? I know some people enjoy jump scare killers, so is that how I should play every game? Wait, some people want to play against ultra competitive killers, is that how I should play? Some people find being hit not fun, so I can no long try to down a survivor? Please tell me whose idea of fun I should put into my killer style, since its now my responsibility to make sure every survivor has fun.
Those are very specific types of fun & unfun. Nobody, and i mean nobody in this world likes being camped from hook 1 and getting downed immediately after and hooked again. Everytime, no exeptions, and little gens done.
It's simple to not know what type of play an individual would think is fun or not. But that's no excuse. Because it's also simple to know what is simply unfun for everyone. Not only the survivor on the hook has no fun, the other 3 survivors do 5 gens and leave with no bp, maybe they don't even pip. How can winning be so unfun? Nobody thinks that's fun, so it's not about what people would prefer to play against, it's about basic knowledge about something that's obviously not fun for anyone. Probably killer included, i don't think camping is fun. Do you honestly think that walking around on 5% of the map, constantly looking at a hook is fun? No, that's why it's considered toxic. Because ruining someone elses fun is why you do it and then hide your pathetic sadness behind a : "yes, let me bathe in your salt yummy yummy. Ez kill" when people critisise you for it.
I'm talking about unneeded camping, which for me, and a lot of other people, is considered toxic.
I agree with you that camping is not fun, but I actually know some who find camping fun. They love drawing and baiting survivors into their trap. They do not play for ranking or pips or even BP. They find the mental chess fun. Some times the strategy works for them, some times it does not. If they find it fun, who are we to judge? We should not ruin their fun, now should we.
Not fun and toxic are not the same thing. Just because it is boring does not make it toxic. They broke no rules (well besides the bullshit made up rules both sides have created). They played the game the way they felt was right. Just because you do not like it does not make it toxic.
Oh yeah, by the way, stop acting like you speak for every player in this game. You do not. Not every person thinks like you do, find the same things you do "toxic". Personally I do not mind being camped 1st hook, because that means my team should get at least 3 gens done and be that much closer to escaping. I am a team player after all.

Wow you know a guy who belongs to the very small amount of people who honestly think camping is fun? Damn what a great argument. Tell that guy he's a piece of #########.
Love the mental chess, lol what a load of crap.
But i can't speak for anyone, but i'm wrong because you don't feel like it's toxic and apparently you can speak for whoever you want. Flawless logic there man.0 -

Letting survivors just walk by you is playing to lose.Maybe if you're a trash killer. If you're a good killer with a big lead then you can easily afford to play fair. I will go around and 3 hook everyone if they just don't do gens fast enough. I'm not sweaty for a kill when I'm clearly going to win anyway.
The Patriots should have "played fair" by letting the Chiefs win since they have won the last few Super Bowls.
Insane much?
This is what is being suggested. Playing to lose is playing "fair" now? Really?
You must like participation trophies. In the real world, these do not exist.
If you are good survivor, you won't get caught in the first place. LOL! Don't blame "trash killers" for your mistake at getting caught. You failed, not them. Participation trophy denied. LOL!Now, in reality, when I play, I go after the closest survivor when I return to the hook, I don't care if it is the one that was just hooked or the other one as generally turning around and going for the one shot down would take more time than hitting the two hit down rescuer.
It is playing the game smart. If you "think" you are being tunneled, maybe you were the closest one to hit. Blame the other survivor for getting away better than you did, not the killer for "tunneling" and wanting to win and "ruin your fun" in a team game. Wow... just wow... LOL!You seem to be missing the point. If you're winning by a large margin and still insist on tunneling someone that's a trash killer. You can afford to play fair with the survivors if you are winning by a lot. On top of being fair, you get both more BP and more emblem points for it so there is other reason to do it. I'm not saying you should play fair if it means you are going to lose.
Also football is a sport where money and such is on the line. There is nothing even close to that in most games, let alone DBD. When the stakes are high, yea take the lead and don't give an inch. But the stakes are pretty low in DBD.
The fact of the matter is if you tunnel hard when you are winning by a mile then you are a trash killer because it takes literally no skill. The guy that got unhooked has no way to really defend themselves. You are just being a jerk by doing stuff like that because you are so thirsty for kills.
I play killer, I get why killers tunnel. Sometimes it's just bad luck. But there's also a point of getting better as killer which you won't do if you take the easy way every time. Then when you get bodied by a group of good survivors you cry "gen rush" or "looping is unfair" when the reality is you are a trash killer. You'd be a better killer if you took the opportunities to get better when you are clearly winning to push yourself.
Talks about participation trophies. Defends unnecessary tunneling because it's the easy thing to do. Good job so far bro 👍

Even after 100 times saying that i get camping and tunneling when needed, and i'm talking about unnecessary camping and tunneling which is just a douchy thing to do.
It's so hard for people to look both ways and admit that someone has a point. Don't expect someone who compares a videogame to Egghand ( it's not football sorry ) to get any points made.
Just like yesterday, i played against a pig, she hooked someone, put a trap on him. She found me after, i 360'd her once, put a pallet down, used Lithe and got caught. At this time 5 gens were left and ruin was still up, 1 guy was getting the trap of his head and 2 people were healing. I had a trap on my head too, then one of the guys who finished healing came to rescue me from the hook, and as expected, ms piggy was just crouching behind a wall, so she stood up and immediately smacked me down. I D/C'ed straight after. Game ruined for me, game ruined for the other survivors. I didn't message her so there's no "juicy salt" to enjoy. How is that even remotely fun for anyone? Sitting still behind a wall with no terror radius to down the 1 guy who can't do gens because he has to heal and get a trap of off his head. Great strategy.1
