Workshopping my Shape Dream Rework
This is one of those, "here's my reality fanfiction of how killer x should be reworked," coming from a former Myers main back when I cared more about being scary than effective. I've taken in a lot of ideas from other people but I wanted to toss my own out there and sincerely have it ripped to shreds by the internet so I can make it better.
My goals for this rework:
- Maintain how Myers actually creates a horror movie where the killer starts of deadly and becomes progressively deadlier, as well as the fact that Michael is a flat out bad ass.
- Not simply buff him but give him more mind game options, so it's not just stat increases that are hard to counter.
- I want him to fit the description, the Shape, having more adaptability to which ever map he's on or survivors he's facing.
Tiering up and Down:
Myers should be able to Toggle between tiers 1 and 2, after he's unlocked tier 2. Doing so will require him to press control, and 5 seconds later, he switches tiers. Holding Control for 1 whole second will be how he tiers up, so he doesn't fat finger entering tier 3 anymore, but this will have a nerf on him. When he is holding the Tier up, he slows down to stalking speed, so if he reaches tier he can't come up and insta kill you with the Tombstone without any heads up, or dealing with the Tombstones downside of lowered speed.
Additionally, you may hold control to Tier down, allowing you to save 50% of your remaining Tier 3 as stalk points towards tiering up again.
Evil within Tier reworks
Tier 1 will gain 4.4 mete speed after you've reached to Tier 2 once, or if you have the Scratched Mirrior add on. Also you gain stalk points slightly faster in Tier 1. Tier 2 I would give a 10% buff to kick action speed, and basic attack cooldown. Tier 3 would lose the 10% buff that Tier 2 gets, but He gains the ability to lift downed pallets like Vecna, only he has to be right by the pallet, it's quicker, and he gains haste each time he does without being stunned. This way pre-dropped pallets several times when he's in tier 3 isn't a good long term strategy, and you'll have to mind game him eventually. Also, when carrying a survivor, you don't lose Tier 3, so Myers is less encouraged to slug.
Stalk Points:
Survivors start 8 stalk points each (as opossed to now with 10), but being hooked refills 3 of them, and when they are unhooked, they gain one more if you are 16 meters or further away, and another 1 if you are 24 meters or further away. Lastly, when one survivors is stalked for 3 points worth, all survivors gain 1 point. (The idea being there is no limit on stalking survivors, but you have to stalk numerous survivors.)
Tombstone Add ons:
The Piece add on will have a 5% move speed penalty, and the full tombestone will be buffed to 8% slowdown (was 9%).

I like a lot of what was said here, being encouraged to stalk everyone, stalk refilling, the ability to manually tier up without doing so accidentally. All that being said my one constructive point would be to still remove tombstone piece. There is no reason for a killer to have an insta kill addon in 2024. The days of 2016 DBD are far behind us
