Posts by unconfirmed troll accounts
Mods please delete if this isn't allowed or move to the feedback/suggestion section if needed. Today has been especially bad. Wouldn't a good solution be to not allow accounts to create new threads until they are confirmed?

Totally agree.
Or at least: threads created by unconfirmed users must be moderated before popping on the forum.

Either that or maybe a limit of like 20 comments before a discussion can be posted could alleviate the issue.

Yeah new accounts need to be limited to comments only for a few days before being allowed to make post

It seems like over the past few months we've seen a larger amount of these accounts. It's starting to get really annoying and has resulted in me using the forums less and less; it feels less like people want to discuss topics and things are becoming more and more about baiting reactions or making absurd posts/comments that only serve to waste everyone's time.

They also purposely do a lot of the spam on the weekend since it's more likely that the posts don't get taken down right away which is incredibly annoying

Yes, I agree.
The "gore guy" should have been the last straw. This shouldn't keep happening, especially on weekends when it takes a long time for those threads and comments to be taken down.

Yeah, in early 2022 we had a problem with an user (or more than one, I am sure) posting gore here. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the lucky who didn't see it.
