Changes i would suggest for The Hillbilly´s addons
The Hillbilly just got a fair nerf on his kit, so i wanted to talk about a possible improvement to his addons with the intention of give players more viable options besides Engravings-Lopro.
• Counterweight: this addon removes Billy´s ability to curve, wich (i assume) it makes backrevving ¨easier¨. But getting rid of one of his most essential mechanics doesn´t seems actually helpful for beginners, so i would suggest the following change:
Increases the movement speed while revving the chainsaw by 5%. This change would be very helpful for beginners at learning the power on large tiles but with the survivors still gaining some distance.
• Discarded Air Filter: Now that the overdrive meter dissipates quicker, this one along with the other three dissipation addons have some kind of utility, but the effect is still a bit weak and it´s not a viable option to make an actual pick, so i would increase the effect to 50% (instead of 20%).
• Thermal Casing: Same as Discarded Air Filter, its effect should be increased to 50% (Instead of 20%).
• Clogged Intake and Off-Brand Motor Oil: Overdrive is a bit weaker and less common during matches now, that´s why i think these addons are a bit outdated, so it would make sense to increase their effects to 25% (instead of 15%).
• High-Speed Idler Screw: The effect of this addon was transferred to Discarded Air Filter, so it should receive a new one:
Grants the undetectable status effect for 15 seconds after downing a survivor with the chainsaw (Same effect that Leafy Mash had).
• Ragged Engine: Same as High-Speed Idler Screw, it should receive a new effect:
After being stunned due a pallet, increases the chainsaw charge speed by 20% for 30 seconds. (Same effect that Mother´s helpers had).
• Thompson´s Mix and Greased Throttle: The Chainsaw´s missed attack cooldown has been increased to 2.7 seconds, so a little improvement to these addons should be also a thing:
Decreases recovery time after using the chainsaw by 12% and 8% respectively (instead of 10% and 5%)
• Spiked Boots and Dad´s Boots: revert their effects to 45% and 30% (instead of 30% and 20%).
Spiked Boots downside idea: Decreases Overdrive charges gained while revving and sprinting to 1/second.
This addon combination used to be one of the funniest things to run in the game, now their not worth to use anymore. That´s why i suggest this idea to make them more balanced but fun.
• Tuned Carburettor: Increases the chainsaw charge speed by 25% (instead of 20%)
This addon has an strong effect, but also a huge downside that is way more noticeable and punishing on indoor maps, that´s why i would increase its effect slightly to make it a better option to use.
