THWACK! does not work with killer powers

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

I tried using updated THWACK! on Nemesis and breaking a pallet with my Tentacle Strike did not activate the perk. The perk states that it consumes a token "when breaking a pallet", not "when performing a break action", so by the way it is worded it should work. It used to work like that before the rework and similar perks like Spirit Fury do work like that as well.

PLATFORM:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Equip the perk "THWACK!" on any killer who has a power that can break pallets or breakable walls (Hillbilly, Cannibal, Demogorgon, Blight, Nemesis, Knight or Dark Lord. Alternatively Good Guy or Lich with appropiate add ons).
  3. Play a match
  4. Break a pallet using your power
  5. Notice that THWACK! does not activate
