Game has suddenly become unplayable after the latest update
If anyone has any ideas how I can get my game to work again, I'm so open to hearing them. My PC meets all recommended requirements for DBD, and worked fine before the latest update, but now it's unplayable. SEVERE lagging and choppy audio to boot. Literally registered at 10 frames a second the last time I tried to boot it up.
What on earth has broken my game so badly?
Here's what I've tried so far (I play on Steam):
- Verified my files
- Did a full reinstall
- Updated all my graphics drivers
- Ran Steam as an administrator (googling lead me to someone recommending this)
- Tried running the game in DX11 rather than DX12
- Reduced all graphics settings to as low as they can go
- Disabled vsync
- Cleared Steam cache
I'm stumped. How can the game run perfectly then one update break it so badly?

I just wanted to comment on one of the server problem threads that I saw since the last update and guess what.
yours is the only one remaining. the rest seem to have vanished into censorship somehow.

Seriously, is there ANYTHING I can do? At this point I think DBD just won't work on my rig anymore and I'm gonna have to replace it. This is ridiculous.
