Can we give green keys a basekit effect?

Green keys are the only item in the game that require addons to have any function. Would ANYONE be against simple adding one of these functions to the green key itself?

A basic function or at least one guaranteed add-on. As is, getting a green key out of a chest feels like the game actively laughing at you.

Yeah they literally put a green key with 0 charges in Vecna's chests as a joke item.
