How Would Yall Adjust The Skill Check System?
I know its become a classic staple but its getting pretty archaic imo. If you were given the chance to update/change the skill checks what would you do?

i think its fine how it is. youd have to rework skill check builds for killer as a side effect and i like my doctor explosion simulator build as it is

Well I would probably start from:
- Leave it as it is - they are just fine.
There you go. This is how I'd change them step by step.
Also, you would need to change every perk that affecting the skill checks as well. It's not something that you can just simply change. Not so easy.

One reason why I like Hyperfocus is that it makes repairing gens more engaging, an actual minigame. They could implement a rudimentary version of that to make things at least a little more rewarding, such as by having consecutive great skill checks return a greater bonus progression. E. g.: First great skill check is 1%, and then a stacking +0.5% from there for every great you land in a row. This could also go along with making rotation-changing skill checks basekit, i. e. some skill checks playing clockwise and others counter-clockwise.
While that would obviously constitute a buff to repairing speed for players that can consistently hit great skill checks, I think overall it would actually balance itself out as more and more players trying harder and harder to hit great checks (whose rotation direction also randomly changes) will lead to many more missed skill checks, which will regularly all but or even more than nullify any extra bonus progression this system would grant. But they could also have it start at 0.5% or even 0% instead of the current 1%, introducing thereby a base nerf to repair speeds.
