Haunted by Daylight!!!
I love these seasonal events. I especially love the event tomes. Their ease of completion is great. The only issue I have is that mediocre competitive players come into the casual mode and sweat to sacrifice casual players just wanting a challenge completion. The regular game mode is available. Go sweat there.

Yes - stop the sweat in the Event.

scare a killer by hiding behind a pallet. It's spooky season after all 🤣

NO!
I'm still playing with my cup of coffee on my table - don't do that to me! I don't wanna buy a new keyboard again!

I haven't had a single round yet without some tournament sweaty nurse/ oni going for a 4 man slug at 5 gens and hardcore tunnelling people out, genuinely can't have anything nice on the game anymore

People try to win in a PVP game. It's not a big deal.

They can sweat on normal game mode all they want, event is separate now. There are literally 0 reasons to do that on the event, where players are trying to do challenges.
Players are free to play how they want tho: I'm just making a healthy suggestion for both sides:
Don't sweat over wins and your main objectives - interact with the event more, kick some pumpkins, collect orbs use your smoke bombs\ghosts, etc.
I mean, bro - you are getting more points for interacting with this event than doing your main objective, or am I wrong?

Turns out they can sweat wherever they want. I dunno why this bothers anyone. It's not like survivors ease off gens and goof off if the killer has 0 hooks at 2 gens left. Just go next.

I'm not enjoying the event at all to be honest. Nothing to do with the event itself, it's just that splitting the queues is a terrible idea and I wish BHVR would stop doing it.
I can't get into a Survivor game and the Survivors that I get in my Killer games are way above my pay grade. Perhaps things will get better, but there's zero fun to be had for me whatever side I choose.

Yes, to whoever read this message: don't ruin the event by sweating, regardless of which role you play.
If you wanna do everything you can to win, go play the regular mode. Let others have fun.
