Question about the possibility of a ban in-game from insulting.

Lets hypothetically say you would get a ban from insulting other players, maybe due to reports that were taken on you. Would, or could, this ban be permanent? Or do the bans come in stages, let's say, a week first, then a month, a year etc, or anything like that?

usually these bans would come in stages similar to the forum bans. Though depending on the severity of the insults/offenses, they may skip these stages as they see fit.

Yeah the thing is I don't know what goes as too severe for the devs, but the filter seems to do a pretty good job at preventing insults. I was wondering if words that aren't censored are severe enough to get a permanent ban, or a ban all together. I don't mean avoiding the filter by typing a letter at a time.

even if you get censored you wont be free from punishment. Also there are creative workarounds..

As far as i know there isnt an official list on what Kind of insults result on which ban and i think announcing something like this would be a good thing.

Yes you can get a permanent ban from chat offences and it can be immediate without temporary ban first.

The filter does not protect someone from a ban either, as we can see exactly what was said.

We're not going to go into what is considered severe or not, I fully suggest people behave in a mature manner in end game chat and remember that there's other people on the other side of the screen. IF you feel unable to contain yourself - switch off chat!
