Sound Muffled Entire Game on Ormond x2

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Loaded into the game, sound seemed fine, was behind a wall when I viewed another survivor drop a pallet, which sounded fine, and then went we went to main building gen, the noise sounded muffled directly, and turning your camera would mask the sound of the gen completely.

Loaded into a second game on Ormand v a Pig and the same muffled sounds were present.

PLATFORM: PC

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Loaded into game, viewed a pallet drop and sound became muffled all match; restarted the game to amend the issue as read on other forum posts.

    This doesn't just happen on Ormond, it seems to happen on all maps. It's present from the moment you load into the match for some reason. Attached are videos of the issue and logs from when it was happening. I don't know how to reproduce it.

    This is happening to me on every map, I have a couple of different models of Hyper X headset and I noticed that after some time playing some of the sounds become very muffled for me too. Checking out your vids it seems I have the exact same issue going on, restarting the game fixes it but it continually comes back after anywhere from a few matches to a few hours in game and I have tried other games but it is only happening in DBD

    Me and my friend found the problem (we think) and a solution.

    The problem are the Void Crystals that make the big smoke clouds. (we think)

    The Solution is to grab a Void Crystal, bring it out and use it. That way the muffled sound disappeared for both of us in 2 different situations. It might work in the Void too but we haven't tried it there. Instead we always brought it out and it fixed the muffled noise.
