Why do so many killer mains believe this game is survivor-sided so much?

I've tried multiple days in a row to play a killer in the Haunted event and I have to give up after a 20 minute wait queue.…why is that? I hear the argument by killer mains to 'play as killer if you hate toxic killers' but then it makes me wonder why some killers are so toxic if the queues are so long. Aside from the long queues, the only advantage in this event for survivors is extra BP and 1 smoke bomb at a time with a possible Haste pumpkin here and there.

You guys have this game easily balanced so much in your favor for those that are experienced. Hook respawns at 60 seconds, base kit moris, 16 second wiggle with backpack perks/close hooks/Putrid Oak offerings, nerf to Distortion, smaller maps, many problematic aura reading perks like Alien Instinct and Predator, etc. Basically if you aren't new to a killer or the game it's an easy 3-4k.

I agree the game should be balanced at 60% win ratio for killers but the killer win streaks I've seen have been in the 100s lately whereas experienced survivors get no more than 8-10 win streaks. Im playing more with bots than actually survivors lately and the developers don't seem to care. Maybe they are turning this game to PVE in a few months.

I have suggestions to help balance or make the game better for survivors that killer should not complain too much about like, base kit Bond and bleeding out options for slugging. Anyways I'm finished with my rant. I'll miss the game but this will be my last week playing until Black Ops 6 comes out.

The interesting thing about playing killer in Dead by Daylight is that, when you first start out, hunting baby survivors is super easy. Yes, you may get the occasional MMR hiccup and get matched with a high powered swf, but more than likely you're playing against survivors who are scared to touch gens, fail skill checks and make the dumbest plays humanly imaginable. So you win. And you keep winning until you raise up in the MMR and start facing the more die hard survivors running the same meta builds, who can flashlight you from out of nowhere, take extra hits to go down and then dead hard away.

When gamers of both sides complain about how overpowered killers or survivors are, what they're really complaining about is facing off against players who understand how to most effectively use perks, builds, maps to their advantage. It's the difference between the average person doodling a stick figure and an artist making a breathtaking masterpiece. It's not about your ability to hold a brush and put it to paper, it's about knowing how to use it effectively.
