Blood Pact...

A decent idea on paper with several flaws in-game, it relies on way too many things, such as:

  • SWF, way easier to use with a friend.
  • You cannot be the Obsession, the Perk literally becomes useless if you are.
  • You need to have a good Obsession teammate, if you don't, a bad or clueless one means you will never get any value from this Perk.

After its buff, Teamwork: Power of Two is just a better alternative. Even tho it has a smaller Haste increase, its ease of activation makes it way more consistent in all of your matches.

I think the Perk needs a rework, almost nobody uses it, it has way too many flaws and it was outshined by a better copy of itself. I have an idea for a possible change this Perk could receive!

Blood Pact

When you or the Obsession are injured, you both see each other's auras.

After completing a healing action on the Obsession, or having the Obsession complete a healing action on you, you become the Obsession.

When you are not the Obsession, you make the following actions 8% slower:

  • Sabotaging Hooks, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing or blessing Totems, opening Exit Gates and unlocking Chests.

When you are the Obsession, you make the following actions 16% faster:

  • Sabotaging Hooks, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing or blessing Totems, opening Exit Gates and unlocking Chests.

When you are hooked while being the Obsession, a new one is chosen at random.

I thought having a Survivor Perk that can switch the Obsession around would be really neat! Also I really like the idea of a Perk nerfing you in exchange for a greater buff under certain conditions, what do you think?
