Forum feature: follow list?

We already have an ignore list.

What would you think having a follow list or something of that effect?

I use the ignore list so I don't have to read posts from people that I've found incapable of reasoning, distorting meaning, attacking the poster instead of the idea, needlessly rude, …

Given how polarized some discussions are, you could think that list is full but no, it's only a handful of people. (There hope for us yet.)

But there are posters I like to read. They write well, present arguments, are reasonable and always polite. It doesn't mean that I always agree with them but I kind of like reading them. I'm not good with names though and I only remember the next time I stumble on one of their posts.

I would love to have a list to put them in, and maybe also a way to have their posts more easily visible to me. (A bit like community managers posts are easier to spot.)
