Can we get console free to play?

Hello, dead by daylight team My account is kind-captain939. I played Dbd for a lot of hours. I love the game, but something has been preventing me from enjoying the game: the price. I have the game, so I should be able to play it and enjoy it, but Sony increased the PS Plus prices. Now it’s such a hassle to play it. I’m not made of money, so having to buy $80 memberships to play the game is hard for me. I do love the game and wish to play it, but I can’t unless the game is free to play now. Not only would this make the game more accessible for others to get into, but it will also hype the game. When someone gets a new console, they always go to the free to play games first to get a game and test the system, and that can be your game. Not everyone is into the shooter games, and honestly, there’s not much good free games on consoles in my experience...But it can’t be that easy. Clearly, the paywall helps prevent hackers, but is it really that bad? I mean, if someone gets reported multiple times from multiple people in a short frame of three to four games, then a ban can fix that, right? I’m just saying I don’t understand how hard it is, and I’m not saying I do know it’s hard to make and keep up on a game and its community, so I simply ask if you all could think about making the game free to play. I’m kind-captain939 and a fan of Dbd, and this was my suggestion.

    Very unlikely. Making online games free to play on PlayStation requires special agreements with Sony that likely involve paying them a ton of money.

    The only one I'm aware of that does it is Final Fantasy 14, which is a subscription MMO.
