What's going on with Dead By Daylight Mobile?

The last communication DBDM sent on socials was 9/23. There has not been a regular update, with the exception of 2 Trial Character updates since that same date. The Rift was extended some 150 days. The content creator program was "paused". The September Developer Q&A was removed. Everything seems rather bleak right now. Halloween is only 7 days away.

What in the world is happening?!

    NetEase employees including 2 executives were arrested for aledge money laundering so DBD mobile and other games might not be around or will take a long time to get back off the ground but I don't expect Behaviour allowing them even if they get restructured to continue making content for the game.
