The devs should really put some loadout restrictions for event queues

It's ridiculous how miserable the event is (mostly as survivor) because half games are anom blight player with 4 slowdown perks who doesn't even interact with the void or god forbid kick one pumpkin. I kid you not, one of them even crashed the server as soon as he saw the last survivor getting the hatch because it wasn't a 4k. I've been playing exclusively as killer for this reason and thank god you can do the event tome with just one role. There's the occasional "tryhard" SWF but it's still not THIS bad.

Everytime it's the same story as for event complaints because of the sweaty SWFs and killers bringing busted combos so maybe limit particular loadouts for the event game mode to make it more tolerable. Let them bring anything they want in normal queue. The event is supposed to be the temporary "casual" game mode people beg the devs to add, yet I see more people playing like their family is being held hostage than playing for fun.

    i think both sides should just have their perk loadouts completely disabled, while they still can use items/addons and offerings (event ones only)

    I like the idea of maybe making up classes for the events queue like they did for 2 Vs 8.

    That was one of my favourite things about that mode. I think they could even just make the mode perkless to be honest (although I'd miss Lightborn because it's a perk that I always bring so I can have chill games. So maybe they could create an anti bully squad class for Killer with built in Lightborn and Iron Grasp for players like me. They could call it the Devout class because it makes securing hooks much easier).

    Since event mode is now separate from the regular mode I think they should give both sides classes to choose from like in 2v8, allow only event items/add ons (maybe make some additional event add on options for killers for some variety), and only allow event/BP offerings. If players want to use their regular perks, items, addons, offerings they can go play in the regular mode.

    Agreed. Let the event be an actual event. It's in a separate queue now as it is. Players are seriously ruining this event with the sweat.
