Is this a bug,a new feature or a hacker play?
Hiya! I have a question about this clip,earlier in a match I was facing against The Trickster..as you can see from this clip,I was caught and hooked once but then the hook stage had automatically,nearing to 2nd stage even though it's my first hook from the entire match…I'm very unsure if this is a bug, a new feature within the event and/or a hacker involved (the killer or teammate)
I wasn't able to report either of them because I wasn't sure on what has happened but I would like to hear your thoughts upon this clip

Hard to say without seeing the entire match but it looks like a bug to me.
Even though the UI and strangely the entity claws are showing as if you're in stage 2, you're also able to attempt unhooking and your survivor model is hanging as if it's in stage 1. Leads me to believe it's a bug, rather than someone intentionally being malicious. Presumably you Deliverenced straight after the clip ended, so I dunno if you'd have stayed hanging in the stage 1 animation for the full 70 seconds.
There's been bugs surrounding hook stages before so it could be a bug, but likewise there's also been hacks in the past that mess with hook stages, so unfortunately, I can't say 100% for sure. I'm leaning towards bug though.

New bug of the UI, happens to me previously, randomly. Happens for someone else in my game. Was surprised when this person was unhooked bc the UI displayed different hook's stage of the survivor. I don't have noticed that at the first look…0
