Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

PC - constant stuttering and frame drops (exacerbated by left-mouse click)

If I load the game up and then alt-tab (or even hit the Windows button and tab-out) I get constant microstutters that turn into full-on frame drops when the left mouse button is clicked. This sometimes happens even when I don't alt-tab. This started shortly after the Lara Croft update dropped and I have no way to fix it. I've tried:
- Verifying game files
- Updating video drivers
- Playing in DX11 mode
- Uninstalling Nvidia Geforce Experience (I have no other game recording software)
- Playing on lower graphics settings
- Turning Vsync off/on
- Uninstalling f.lux
- Turning Steam overlay off
- Reinstalling the game
- Monitored my CPU usage (it's fine)
I can play just fine if I don't alt-tab at all but I have things on my other monitor that I need to pay attention to so simply not alt-tabbing isn't an option.
Nothing seems to work
