Killer Gen Perks.

What is worth using anymore?

What if I use COB, OC and eruption together?

I just hate how slow gens regress without COB or OC. Feels like an eternity.

I just don’t know what to use. They all got nerfed pretty much 🤷🏼‍♂️

Right now I like the Pain Resonance + Dead Man's Switch combo. Some folks have also been running Grim Embrace. I try to go for a little gen slowdown + some other type of pressure (anti-healing or healing slowdown, like Sloppy Butcher) + auras (most times it's BBQ).

Surge is also really really neat imo. Or you can go for a Pop Goes the Weasel + Nowhere to Hide combo. And add Oppression into the mix if you're feeling spicy. None of these will slowdown them forever but I find them quite effective at giving me enough time to catch them and kill them all before they get to finish the gens.

    Corrupt+Pain Res+Grim+Agi is always solid

regression itself isn't worth it unless your hyper mobility killer because regression perk consume time to kick gens. in other words, you need waste time as killer to gain time on gens which is counter-productive gameplay formula.

Pain res, Surge and Ruin was only perks where you don't need kick gen but you gain time regardless. Ruin is very weak because over-time regression is 400%. Surge is 8%, a very minor amount that one survivor easily outpaces. it is good if you trying automatically kick strays gens in match but again 400% regression. Pain res is only time efficient regression perk that gains value however it doesn't slow game down. it reverses time spend to go to hooks. this was always case for pain res but it has received many nerf's.

pop+eruption is decent combination of perk regression gens but it is type of perk combo that relies on killer being super mobile to cut time between hook and activation. even then, eruption only triggers once every 2nd hook unless you don't find a chase immediately and kick gen after words.

the best combo you can run pop+pain res+eruption. It is just that most killer are not time efficient at kicking gens and work better off pain res+dms. you can fill in grim embrace, deadlock or corrupt intervention.

pure regression is sketchy to use. gen-blocking is common now.

Pain Resonance still best gen regression perk in the game and arguably best perk in the game.

Pop still also very strong, especially with Eruption, even with gen regression limit and on M1 with no mobility, you can still hold one gen by a hook or control an area for a while.

The following are all A or S tier perks that are slowdown related, some with great synergies to exploit:
Pain Resonance, Pop, Corrupt, Deadlock, Eruption, No Way Out, Grim Embrace
